Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has sent his players a warning over Liverpool. The two Premier League sides are set to meet in a top-of-the-table clash at Anfield this Sunday.
Solskjaer has explained the “biggest challenge” his United side faces when they take on Liverpool this Sunday.
The Red Devils have gone top of the Premier League after beating Burnley earlier this week.
It saw them leapfrog their old rivals, who they had a game in hand over.
United have been in unstoppable form in the league, not losing a match since their 1-0 defeat to Arsenal on November 1.
But they face their sternest test next when they take on Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds have looked out of sorts lately, failing to win in three matches but need a win to draw level with United in the league.
And Solskjaer has revealed one problem his team needs to be wary of.
He said: “It’s the biggest challenge you can get. To play against a team like that. We’re looking forward to it.
“Also, we know that it is a match where we have to perform at our best to get a positive result.
“Such matches are often decided on either a moment’s magic or on a mistake or both.”
United could be without Anthony Martial for the match, while Phl Jones and Brandon Williams are the only two definitely out.
Solskjaer added: “I’m going to give everyone another day. Anthony is not out of it.
“The only ones certainly out are Brandon and Phil Jones, they’re the two that definitely cannot make the game, a couple of others maybe doubts, but we’re hoping, fingers crossed.
“Form goes out of the window when you play your rivals but our form gives us confidence, we’re confident going into the game.
“We’re the challengers, they’re the champions, they’ve earned the right to be champions, we’re challengers and hunters and you want something that they’ve had and they have.
