Borussia Dortmund have identified a replacement for Jadon Sancho, with the expectation that he will move to Manchester United in the summer. Dortmund apparently want to sign PSV Eindhoven’s Donyell Malen.
Dortmund are fearing the worst when it comes to the summer transfer window, with Sancho expected to be the subject of another series of bids.
United were desperate to sign him last summer, but refused to meet the £108million asking price.
Despite missing out, he is set to be a target for them when the summer window opens this year.
And Dortmund want to have a replacement ready just in case United do make another move, according to reports.
SportWitness claims Dortmund have identified PSV ace Malen as a target.
The 21-year-old can play anywhere across the front three, and has a keen eye for goal.
He’s scored 15 goals in 24 games across all competitions this season, as well as six assists.
Malen is under contract until 2024, so the Dutch side will be able to demand a significant transfer fee.
