Manchester City’s roadmap for their Premier League title defence has been outlined after the 2022/23 fixtures were released.

All 380 games for the new season have now been confirmed, with the new season getting underway on Friday, August 5. City get their campaign started a couple of days later on August 7, when they travel to West Ham.

It’s a tricky start for Pep Guardiola’s men as they begin their quest for a hat-trick of title wins. The Blues though will be relatively pleased with the start they’ve been handed for the upcoming season.

After visiting the Hammers, City host Bournemouth in their first home game of the campaign on August 13, with a trip to Newcastle following a week later. The Blues then round out the month at home to Crystal Palace (August 27) and newly-promoted Nottingham Forest (August 31).

They begin the following month with a trip to Aston Villa on September 3, with memories of that thrilling final day encounter against the same opponents still fresh in the memory. A tough test at home to Tottenham follows (September 10) before City travel to Wolves (September 17) in their final game before the first international break of the season.
