‘Better than Mahrez and Sterling on the right’ – Gabriel Jesus stunner sends Man City fans wild
Gabriel Jesus could be on his way out of Manchester City this summer and on Thursday he showed just why the Blues don’t want to lose him.
The 25-year-old scored a stunning solo goal towards the end of Brazil’s 5-1 win against South Korea in Seoul, cutting in from the right wing to dribble past a few challenges and riffle the ball into the bottom corner.
Jesus could leave City for Arsenal, with the London club keen to make the Brazilian their new striker following the expected departure of Alexandre Lacazette. Jesus is eager to play more in order to boost his chances of being selected for Brazil’s World Cup squad, something he might find difficult to do at City given the arrival of Erling Haaland.
While City will no doubt be just fine without Jesus, they will certainly miss his fantastic work rate both on and off the ball, as well as his knack for performing in big games. City fans on Twitter were certainly impressed by his latest goal.
