‘Best decision I ever made’ – Fernandinho sends emotional message to Man City in final Etihad visit
Fernandinho says signing for Manchester City in 2013 was the best decision he ever made, as he bid farewell to the Etihad for one final time.
The Brazilian leaves City after a trophy-filled nine years, where he won five Premier League titles and became the club’s most decorated player. He is expected to return to Brazil to finish his career and signed off in style by helping City to another Premier League title last week.
In a new video on social media, Fernandinho can be seen entering the City dressing room, taking down his shirt, putting it over his shoulder and walking out to the Etihad pitch one final time.

“You just want to keep working, keep achieving goals. When you stop, take a breath and look back on what you did it’s such a cheerful feeling.
