Tottenham could see lively winger Manor Solomon return to training in the coming weeks, after a lengthy spell sidelined. The 24-year-old has played just five league games for Spurs since signing from Shakhtar Donetsk last summer, due to suffering a meniscus injury in October.

During his short spell playing for Spurs the Israeli winger showed his skills to those around him, including James Maddison. Speaking to the club’s matchday programme Maddison had a glowing review of his new team-mate.

When asked: “Who is the most skilful in the team?” The England international replied: “In terms of actual skills, tricks and quick feet I’d probably say Manor Solomon, one of the sharpest players I’ve ever seen.”

Solomon caught the attention of Spurs after scoring four league goals during 19 appearances while on loan at Fulham during the 2022/23 season. However, since arriving from Shakhtar Donetsk he has been hit by the injury and had minor surgery after suffering discomfort following a knee operation last year.

Football.london have reported that the attacker is due to return to training next week and could soon return to competitive action, if he avoids any setbacks. However, injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar believes that fans will need to be patient and Solomon might not return to action for another month.

He told Tottenham News: “Solomon has been ruled out for several months with a knee injury and is facing issues while returning to full fitness. Based on comments from (Ange) Postecoglou, he’s had a couple of setbacks in his return process and also required surgery.
