Manchester City winger Jack Grealish has signed a seven-figure advertising deal with Pepsi, boosting his already staggering net worth to even greater heights. The promotional campaign, filmed in January, will also feature actor and former footballer Vinnie Jones and is expected to debut later this year.

The 28-year-old, who won the treble with City last season, will use this new deal to propel his £31million net worth beyond the likes of Golden Boot-winning team-mate Erling Haaland. Pepsi will be yet another commercial giant represented by Grealish, with the England star already a brand ambassador for Puma, Gucci and Bose.

“Jack is banking another million with his new Pepsi deal,” an anonymous source told The Sun. “It’s for a new advertising campaign with Vinnie Jones who has also been signed up. Both of them have filmed their parts for the advert and it’ll be seen by fans later this year.

“Jack is worth every penny as far as Pepsi are concerned because everything he touches turns to gold. It’s a really fun advert, and Jack and Vinnie are following in the footsteps of other big players like David Beckham and Lionel Messi.”

Out of Grealish’s Man City team-mates, only Kevin De Bruyne has a higher net worth at £56m. The winger is also the team’s third-highest earner, with a salary of £16m.

Co-star Jones, who won the FA Cup with Wimbledon in 1988, kept his career rolling after he retired from football by going into acting. The midfielder went on to play Juggernaut in ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’, as well as making appearances in films like ‘Snatch’ and ‘Mean Machine’. Despite such a big screen career, his net worth is little over half that of Grealish.

The Man City star caused controversy on Monday after Pep Guardiola’s decision to leave him on the bench for their Premier League match against Brentford. The fixture marked the England star’s fourth successive benching, to which he reportedly left training early.

Returns from injury for the likes of De Bruyne, Haaland and Jeremy Doku mean that Grealish has not started since a 5-0 FA Cup win over Huddersfield Town at the beginning of the year. The winger has made 18 starts for City this season, and has made substitute appearances in all but five games.

Manchester City will face Everton at the Etihad on Saturday, with kick-off at 12.30pm on TNT Sports.
