“We were talking last week about a statement Pogba made about how Manchester United need to be better on set pieces, well I’ll tell you what, if there’s one team you don’t want to be giving set pieces away to is Burnley.
“So yeah, Man United absolutely are favourites but this is no foregone conclusion.”
Burnley beat United 2-0 at Old Trafford 12 months ago but Solskjaer’s side have come a long way since then.
A point tonight would make them outright leaders in the Premier League ahead of Sunday’s trip to Liverpool.
But Nicol reckons it would not be a big surprise if the Red Devils were still second following tonight’s match.
