“Our Premier League fixture with Newcastle United, which was postponed as a result of a similar outbreak at their training ground, will now take place on Saturday, January 23 at 8pm.”
Villa were originally set to play against Newcastle on December 4, but their game on January 23 means they face four matches in the space of eight days to finish the month.
Dean Smith’s side are already far behind on games played than any other team in the Premier League.
Games against Everton and Tottenham still have to be fit into the schedule at some point in the near future.
