Arsenal‘s match against West Brom tonight may be in doubt due to a snow storm at the Hawthorns. Heavy snow hit the West Midlands 90 minutes before the 8pm kick off. Groundsmen are attempting to remove the snow from the pitch as it settles quickly.
Arsenal are hoping to make it three Premier League wins in a row, whereas the Baggies are fighting against relegation under Sam Allardyce.
The Gunners welcome Brazilian duo Willian and David Luiz back to the squad after illness, with Gabriel Martinelli dropping to the bench in place of Alexandre Lacazette.
West Brom lost 5-0 to Leeds last time out but dug out an impressive 1-1 draw at reigning champions Liverpool two days before.
And Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said at his pre-match press conference that he was expecting a tough encounter.
Victories against Chelsea and Brighton have eased the pressure on Gunners manager Arteta.
And Allardyce has challenged his players to bounce back against an improving Gunners side.
“I want the players to see Arsenal in the same way they saw Liverpool and Manchester City,” Allardyce said.
“They’ve seemed to have performed better against the bigger sides in this division so far this year and I hope we can produce another strong performance on Saturday night.
“It would be great to get a result at The Hawthorns. It’s no secret that we need to start picking up points wherever we can now.
