The teen, who has started Arsenal’s last two games in the number ten role, is seen as one of the stars for the future at the Emirates along with fellow winger Bukayo Saka, who Campbell thinks is another who should be given game time.
The former Arsenal striker explained to Football Insider that Saka and Smith-Rowe are too valuable for their game time to be disrupted by the arrival of Isco.
Campbell said: “Well Emile Smith Rowe’s been creative, Saka’s been creative. So I’m not sure where Isco would fit.
“He’s s a gifted player, don’t get me wrong, but he’s not someone who’ll pick the ball up and go past people. He’s a technical operator.
